Ada Jemison Bullock was born on March 15, 1985, in Detroit, Michigan. She grew up in a close-knit family that encouraged her to pursue her passion for science and technology from a young age. Her parents, Mark and Rachel Bullock, were both engineers, and they instilled in her a love for learning and a strong work ethic.

Ada excelled in her studies and showed a natural aptitude for mathematics and physics. Her high school science fair project on renewable energy earned her recognition at the state level and solidified her desire to further her education in the field of sustainable technology. She went on to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan, where she graduated with honors.
